Watch the sun drop from Lowden’s Lookout

The quest

Lowden’s Lookout faces the last light north-west of centre, Vancouver. The quest is standing still until three lights stay on after the sun.

Steps

1. Arrive at Lowden’s Lookout twenty minutes before sunset. Stay on public ground — not a bike lane, not a road deck.
2. Watch until the disk is gone. Name three lights that stay on.
3. Leave the way you came. Do not climb railings or cut through private docks.

Why this is on the board

Lowden’s Lookout is one of the spots north-west of centre, Vancouver where Vancouver actually faces the sky. You get the last colour of the day and a few minutes of standing still a patio will not sell you.
